About White mushroom:
Agaricus Bisporus is an edible basidiomycete mushroom in Europe and North America. A mushroom can be described as a fruity body of fungus. Mushrooms reproduce through billions of spores which are thin branching threads which are called mycelium. It is also called butter mushroom or ‘Champignon Mushroom’. It has 2,000 above different species all over the world and basically found in Western Europe. The large scale of mushroom cultivation developed in Paris and Netherlands also. It is cultivated in growing rooms and optimum climates. This white mushroom has a firm texture and nutrition value contains protein, vitamins, calories, potassium and folic acid. This makes the ideal nutrition for healthy diet.
Description White mushrooms:
The white mushrooms are white in color and medium size with cap averaging 2-7 cm in diameter and attached to truncated stem. The smooth white caps are rounded, firm and spongy. There are many small little light brown gills that are hidden with white veil. When bruised, the white flesh will turn from light pink into brown. The short white stems are edible, dense and smooth.
Storage white mushroom:
White mushroom is kept in the temperature between 40-70 C for a week. The proper time for mushroom cultivation is in autumn. The high volumn of fresh air into the growing room and significant climate change is the natural process of mushroom development. It is also stored in the vegetable container in the refrigerator.
Taste and use of white mushroom:
When you use white mushroom we need to clean it before use. Never wash the white mushroom directly in water because the mushroom flavour spoils by water so we pack the mushroom with kitchen paper and wash gently with small brush. We use the white mushroom in any kind of dishes like salads, bake, braise, pasta, pan pizza, farmer’s omelette etc.
